King of Africa will officially launch at the end of the month. It’s been a long, long road to get here, and we are extremely excited.
We sent out a survey a couple of weeks ago to get a feel of which t-shirts people would like to see – the results were somewhat suprising. We will be posting those results soon. You will also be able to vote on designs once our site is up – if you want to attempt to pressure the King into printing a certain design.
Each month we will launch a six-pack of designs by some of our favourite artists, which can be bought individually or in the special King of Africa 6-pack.
We will be profiling all of the great artists who have designed tees for us. But to kick it off, we are very very pleased to announce that the work of Japanese artist Aiko Fukawa, who uses the style known in Japan as Yuru-yuru (meaning slow-slow), will be included in our first collection.
